Display State data

I have data on total service calls by state that I'de like to display on a map. I only want to see the number of calls displayed in each state. No need for graphs or push pins. I have imported the data but I can't get it to display on the map other than in shading or graphic format All I want is the nunber to display in each state. Help

You'd have to do it programmatically creating a Textbox drawing object, there's no option like with MapInfo to do labels from your data through the interface except drawing all the Textbox's manually.

I think you could Import and display as pushpins then set the Field(x).VisibleInBalloon property to true for the field holding the data that you want to display. Then, for each pushpin, setting the Pushpin.Balloonstate to geoDisplayBalloon. You may even be able to set the Name of the pushpin to the data value and use geoDisplayName.
Either way, the screen would probably end up a bit "busy".

labels

Did you ever figure out how to add the label? I am trying to add the cost to a shaded circle map. I am bringing the data from excel but have been unsuccessful adding the values.
