I have a map with about 6,000 freeform zones drawn. As opposed to manually selecting each polygon and writing down the lat/long of each vertex, is there a way to automate exporting that data to Excel, Word or another application. My eventual goal is to put these zones into Arcview.

You're in luck! Walt Cygan wrote a GIS Exporter for MapPoint some years back, IMHO it's probably the best kept secret regarding MapPoint and GIS interoperability.

It's not perfect (you might have to tweak the code some) but it puts them in mif/mid, the MapInfo interexchange format which should have no problem going right into ArcView (as I remember ArcView ships with a mifshape converter).

If you poke around a bit in the object model and Walt's code, you could code a exporter yourself from scratch and it probably wouldn't be too hard to make a shape file exporter for MapPoint.
