jdizzi, You're in luck! Walt Cygan wrote a GIS Exporter for MapPoint some years back, IMHO it's probably the best kept secret regarding MapPoint and GIS interoperability. Anyway, check out http://www.mp2kmag.com/importersub01.asp It's not perfect (you might have to tweak the code some) but it puts them in mif/mid, the MapInfo interexchange format which should have no problem going right into ArcView (as I remember ArcView ships with a mifshape converter). If you poke around a bit in the object model and Walt's code, you could code a exporter yourself from scratch and it probably wouldn't be too hard to make a shape file exporter for MapPoint.
