Extract route order

I would like to extract the route order from a MapPoint route and transfer the stops to an Access Database. There are 50 to 70 accounts on a route and I import an Access query that combines account (number + name) = Name.
Which controls would you suggest to handle the data? I can print the WayPoint.Items to debug and it's good. But, I can't get the darn control to addnew to the access table.

Routing

Hi,

Do you know if it is possible to import a list of say 30 -50 addresses and route same?

Better yet, I'd like to take a list and find best route for delivery to all 50 stops.

Paul

importing a route

The MP user interface will do this for you directly. No need for code. Just use the data import wizard and go through the steps. Its pretty simple really as long as you are coming from a list that MapPoint likes such as an MS Access table or Excel

How does one preserve an order of waypoints. I import a list into Mappoint and it decides the best order in which to travel. Not good for me.
