I am facing following problem using map point.
1)I am developing application using mappoint. our client want to send email to their client from the Map point. so i decided to add the mail id of client in to the baloon. but i dont know how to invoke the outlook on click in to the mailid in the baloon. Or there is any other way to do this.
2)Another thing is that I want to add my menu item in the popup menu of a pushpin,So that i can call my own function for some action for a particular customer directly from the map.
3) I am developing my application in VC++.So i embedded mappoint in to formview. but this activeX is not resizeable .How can container will cover whole view when ever user maxmize the window.
I will be thankfull for your response.

1) Set the balloon text to mailto:emailid@domain.com. MapPoint recognizes the "mailto:" prefix and converts the text to a hyperlink. This will automatically invoke Outlook when clicked.

2) In this version of MapPoint, I don't know of any way that you can modify an existing context menu. This would be a nice feature. I suggest you pass this on to the Microsoft wish list at mswish@microsoft.com.

3) I am not a VC++ programmer. You might want to take this question to the microsoft.public.mappoint newsgroup to get an answer. There are several VC++ folks that keep an eye on the newsgroup.

Hope this helps.
