| I am trying to get the map name but it returns "map in unsaved". Is there any way to get the name of the map as shown in the navigation bar. Thanks in advance for any help George         |

Have you tried the Name property of the Map object? If that doesn't work for you, try a Windows API that would let you return the titlebar text of a window. - Eric
