What is probably happening is that MapPoint is stacking multiple pushpins in the exact same location. As a result, only the front pushpin icon is showing. MapPoint doesn't have a "disperse" function that offsets icons slightly so you can see all of them, even if they are in the same place. The only simple suggestion I can offer is to use icons of different sizes and shapes, and bring in your datasets in a sequence that would stack them so multiple overlapping icons still show. In other words, use large squares for the first dataset, followed by small circles (so the corners of the squares still show in overlap situations), followed by a pushpin icon, etc. Not a real solution but hopefully an acceptable workaround. And, in MapPoint 2002 you can use your own icons too to increase the range of sizes and shapes that yu can work with. |
