so I want to know if it possible to add a menu in the standards menus of MapPoint ( also in right click menus ) ?

for example adding a new option when I right click on a pushpin ? ( or onto a Click-info item )

From what I know the Toolbars in the MapPoint application are immutable.. you would have to write your own wrapper interface around all of MapPoint's functionality to have a custom interface.

Also, have you worked through the book "Programming MapPoint in .NET" ?

I dont think so. But a workaround that I mostly use is to have my own main menu to do my things, and they have also a few mappoint menu items for the things the application in question need (and only that). Same for the popup menu.

Another workaround that I often do is to have mappoints original popup menu keep it, and display my own popupmenu if the user click right with shift or ctrl key pressed.

Right click menu on MapPoint Maps

>>Right click menu on MapPoint Maps<<

I was on the phone with a guy today along with his boss.. the boss asked about right-clicking in MapPoint.

I professed ignorance, wasn't sure. The other party seemed like it's old hat, no problem with MapPoint, just need to do a registry thing. ??
