If you are looking for a program that allows you (on your own PC) to do this analysis, MapPoint fits the bill. You can put "pushpin" icons on the map for each of your dealers, and enter the address or ZIP of a customer. You can then do a radius circle or drive-time zone from the customer location and extract the dealer address or addresses that are closest to the customer. If you are looking for an online store locator that you can hook up to your website so customers can find dealers on teir own, MapPoint 2002 is not the answer. You cannot hook the current product up to your website as a map server. If the rumors are correct, this will come soon though, with the MapPoint .NET Web Service         |
