I am new to MapPoint and I would like to find out more about its batch geocoding capabilities and limitations.

Ideally, I want to be able to take addresses that I can not geocode in another geocoding software and try to geocode them in MapPoint and then extract the resulting lat/longs or append the lat/longs to the table I entered in MapPoint.

Is this something that can be easily done?

Is there a maximum number of records I can run in a batch?

Does MapPOint indicate the degree of accuracy in its geocoding results and if it does, how do I see that?

Also, the Pushpin Tool will allow you to export the lat/lon's, this is also good if you don't want to have to do any custom MapPoint development to get up and running right away...:
