MapPoint and Aparments and Suites

Can someone explain to me how MapPoint handles the APT, Suite, # type designations that might be on an address. I find the the address parsing doesn't seem to know how to match up an address when this happens.

Also, along that lines, when in the application MP2002, how does the importdatabase routine deal with these types of addresses when it is run. I didn't see a list of rejects, so assume it must do something with those addresses.
