Hello

I'm using Mappoint 2004 11.00.18.1900

My problem is I can't hide Parking icons on map.

I use objApp.ActiveMap.PlaceCategories.Visible = False from Visual Basic, and all place/categories are hidden except Parkings.

Same result if I use directly Mappoint menu, "show or hide...". I deselect all icons, but carparks always appears.

Any idea?

Are you using the North American version or European?

Give an example of an area where the software does this, I cannot reproduce the problem.

Same Problem here:
Example:
Mappoint Europe, Germany, Stuttgart, Paulinenstraße

no entries should be shown but there are these Parking areas.

I have heard something from MS about this, that the "disable POI:s" function is not 100%. Not much help, but it isn't just your installation...

Someboy knows a workaround to disable all POIs (including parkings) on Mapoint Europe from Visual Basic?

Its the "Parks and Woodland" category that I cannot remove. All others seem to be controlled by reg key (MP2004): HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Microsoft\Mappoint\11.0 \EUR\Features_Z - 00 80 being 'display' and 00 00 being 'dont display' for the other 28 placecategories. Values are saved when application ends.

Any workaround yet?
