OK - I confused you. The sample from the MapPoint Help system includes a line that calls the Link Wizard - Set objDataSet = objApp.ActiveMap.DataSets.ShowLinkWizard(). If your file already includes a linked dataset called "customers", you can change this one line to Set objDataSet = objApp.ActiveMap.DataSets("customers") which should give you the silent refresh you are looking for. (You obviously don't need the MsgBox line either.) |
