Mysterious Files

I downloaded and installed the MapPoint SDK. I'm currently starting my 30-day evaluation.

The download provided me a bunch of C#/VB.NET sample projects, which is great. I'd be nowhere without them.

But, it also gave me a bunch of strangely-extensioned files: *.HxA, *.HxC, *.HxI, *.HxK, *.HxS, and *HxT.

I've managed to figure out that these are help files of some sort--and thanks only to Google for that--but how do I use them? One would asssume that, since I ran an installation, all relevant files are properly registered, if necessary. But they're not integrated with VS.NET (no new F1 integration with MapPoint topics), and they're not associated with an application that I have installed (double-clicking is no help).

How do I use these files, or why are they on my PC now?

Thanks!

Hello,

When you install the SDK you should get a new MapPoint help section under VS help. However, you won't see it unless you're filtering by MapPoint. Under Help> Contents there is a filtered by drop down list and you need to choose the MapPoint choice to see the new section.
