Hello. I am very new to Mappoint (only have had about 1 week) and need to know how (or if) I can use the program to define trade areas using polygons and the built in census data information. I want to basically draw a circle around a point in my city (say 5 miles or whatever) and then, basing my data on zip codes or census tracts, find out the population, etc. of the areas located within this circle. My problem is that some of these circles will overlap into parts of several different zip codes. Does Mappoint have the capability to help me with this project (I have to define something like 12 different trade issues for various land uses). Note--I do not have the underlying Census data for these zip codes in an excel file currently, but could do this if needed, I guess.
