You cannot just see Michigan - you'll always get the whole map. Of course, you can zoom in tightly so Michigan is at the center with just a few other pieces of geography around it, but you cannot take just Michigan. Adding the specific boundaries you are talking about is now possible through the Spatial Data Import sample utility. You would need to get the right polyline files for these district lines in ESRI SHP of MapInfo MIF format, and feed it into the utility to add it on top of the MapPoint map as a drawing overlay. It won't become part of the map, but you can use it as a visual reference and to do "point in poly" operations. |
