Hello,

I implemented a visual-basic application using a mappoint-ocx and
created (with the installation-wizard) a setup. Starting this installations
and everything runs fine. But burning this on a dvd results an error
while error: a windows opend and ask for "Legen Sie den Datenträger
ein: Ausführungs-Datenträger" (Please insert disk: execution-disk).
The only way out is CANCEL.
But if you copy this installation dvd back on a harddisk and run setup.exe
again, everything runs fine (even on a networt-disk).
Any ideas?
Btw: there are normally no problems with the dvd.. this is the only
bad case.

I think when it runs off the CD, it is looking for a particular label such as GEO11EU or something, check what the name of your Run CD is when you pop it in.

You might try naming the DVD the same? Not sure it will work though..

yes, that' it... thank you VERY much!
I labeled the dvd "GEO11EU" and it works.
So there may be a difference (for setup), if
you start the installation from DVD or hard-disk.
hard-disk: don't check the name
DVD: check for the name "GEO11EU"
