World's First, Smallest and Lightest, Global Locator Phone

Wherify Wireless Announces the Availability of the World's First, Smallest and Lightest, Global Locator Phone -- Wherifone G550

Wherify's Next Generation Global Location System Will Deliver Personal Location Technology to GSM-Centric Markets Around the Globe

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif-- Wherify Wireless, Inc., a leading developer of wireless location products and services based on the company's pioneering back-end location service platform announces the selection by CTIA for this year's Wireless Widget Showcase. Wherify Wireless will introduce and demonstrate the Wherifone G550(R) for the first time at the CTIA IT & Entertainment business show at the Moscone Center (booth #852) in San Francisco, October 25-27, 2004.

Wherify, which has entered into a definitive agreement and plan of merger with IQ Biometrix, Inc. (OTCBB:IQBM) of Fremont, Calif., plans to begin manufacturing the Wherifone G550(R) this year for international distribution, followed by additional location-based products for valuable assets, cargo, vehicles, and pets.

Through the convergence of Global Positioning System (GPS) and digital wireless technology - along with Wherify's patented Global Wide Area Reference Network (GWARN) - the Wherifone G550(R) offers parents, family members and business people peace of mind knowing they can locate loved ones or valuable property, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The slim and lightweight Wherifone G550(R) can fit almost anywhere...from a backpack, to a purse, to a coat or pants pocket, to the family car. In addition to the ability to locate or make incoming and outgoing calls, the Wherifone G550(R) even provides a child or adult a new level of security knowing they can also request a 911 emergency response at the touch of a button.

"This marks an important milestone in our efforts to develop and manufacture a GPS Locator Phone for the GSM markets in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas," said Timothy Neher, president and CEO of Wherify Wireless. Neher added, this announcement is another example of our strategic domestic and international growth initiatives to bring our Global Location System to people, businesses, and government organizations around the world.

The Wherifone G550(R) is the first consumer electronic device to combine both GPS location capability with a simple to use speaker- phone. The Wherifone's G550(R) simple design is a perfect "Starter" phone for children under 13 yrs old and adults over 65 yrs. Pre-programmable buttons provide for the ability to easily press (1 for Mom, 2 for Dad) for children and for adults (1 for spouse, 2 for son or daughter, etc.). In addition to the ability to locate or make incoming and outgoing calls, the Wherifone G550(R) even gives a child or adult carrying it a new level of security knowing they can also request a 911 emergency response at the touch of button.

The Wherifone G550(R) is supported by Wherify's Location Service Center, which can provide location capability on both street maps and aerial photographs via the web or phone. This patented GPS technology is the only Global Location System that generates "locates" within feet and inside most homes and vehicles -- with out line of sight. This new phone also provides the technology base for a number of associated future products addressing not only the security of individuals but also physical assets and pets.

Demonstration and test units will be available by the end of the year with full production quantities available in the first quarter of 2005. It is anticipated that this new Locator phone will retail for less than $ 150.00 with monthly service plans starting as low as $14.95
