If you are doing this manually: 1. display the legend and overview pane 2. select the pushpin/dataset on which to set the hyperlink (double-click or right click and select properties) 3. Choose the hyperlink tab You will need to decide where you want MapPoint to get the hyperlink information. You can set default values using *.htm as the file name(MapPoint will use the pushpin name as the document name). There is an option to use a field from your imported data if you are importing your pusphins. |

In the legend of your pushpin (right click it, choose "Information"), you can just type in a URL and it will automatically recognize that it's a hyperlink. You can up in any URL. If it's a local file, use file:// instead of HTTP:// (i.e. file://c:/mydoc.doc) (Only problem is if you have spaces in the name.) |
