On the first of January 2002, the last step in the adoption of a common currency will be performed by 12 European countries: Euro banknotes and coins will be introduced. "EuroMap.jpg" shows the participating countries, and the exchange rate of the Euro (€) to their former national currency. Submitted by Gilles Kohl.
