MapPoint 2004 Symbols

Richard Marsden assembled this guide to MapPoint 2002 symbols and the new additional symbols found in MapPoint 2004.

Based on Microsoft documentation with the addition of the new MapPoint 2004 symbols.

MapPoint 2002 symbols


Extra MapPoint 2004 symbols:
The new symbols that have been added to MapPoint 2004 have codes 256-335.

Extra number circles. These have codes 256 (‘21’) to 285 (‘50’):

Flag symbols, in colors matching the pushpins, circles, squares, etc. These have codes 286 (black flag) to 293 (purple flag):

New currency symbols are 294 (Euro) and 295 (Yen):

40 additional map symbols have been added, from 296 (Fire truck) to 335 (Ace of Spades)
