We have MP2001 and a csv file with OS gridrefs for the UK. If you use MP wizard to import it works fine, but using the programatic way using .ImportData it doesn't understand the data. i.e

Set oDS = .ImportData(szconn, geoFieldOSGridRef, geoCountryUnitedKingdom, geoDelimiterComma, geoImportFirstRowNotHeadings)

If the CSV has Zip codes it is fine, but not with OS Grids.

Answer:

Check to make sure the first line of your CSV contains the field names such as "OS Grid Reference,Information". MS adds: One possibility is that you are using MapPoint North America (you mention zip codes), and trying to import OS Grid refs. If this is not the case, then we need more info.
