Hi, I'd like to know what is a good cheap gps receiver that would work with MS Mappoint on a laptop. Thanks!

Answer:

I'm not sure we can help here. It really depends on how you want to use the GPS device. If mobility is the priority, you should look for a PC Card or CompactFlash device (with PC Card Adapter) that can be plugged straight into a laptop without any cables. If you don't mind a few cables and will use the device in your car only, a serial or USB device would be fine (and probably a little cheaper). Your best bet is to find a GPS enthusiast site and ask your question there.
