Is there a way to use a different pushpin symbol when importing Access data using the MapPoint Control on a VB form? I am finding subtle differences with the object model when using the control rather than the whole application. Thanks.

Answer:

You can definitely use the new "custom pushpin" icon option with the MapPoint Control. If you have more specifics about scenarios where this doesn't work as expected, please provide more detail (you can email us at website@mp2kmag.com). With regards to your comment about subtle differences between the Control and the Application, we can confirm that these exist (we found some too).
