Where can I get information or program upgrades to support South American countries? I need to map territories in major cities, but I can only get as low as state or region level.

At this point there is no detailed map data for any part of South America. Microsoft is likely to expand MapPoint's geographic coverage over time, but no specifics of timing or new coverage areas are known at this stage.
