I have a need to find a whole length of a road is there anyway map point can show me the road from start to finish just by typing in the road e.g. a motorway number like M4 will showm me the entire length of that motorway.

Answer:

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Roads aren't entities that you can select on the map.

You can of course set the start and end point of a road and create a highlighted route. Once you have a route, you can do interesting things like selecting it and performing a "Find Nearby Places" search to find and display any pushpins or points of interest that are within a specified distance from the road.

You can write code to store and manage multiple routes - this may be the solution for your requirements.
