411 Rekha - September 25, 2001

I have Microsoft Mappoint 2001 and I am trying to Move LeftRight and Move UpDown Map in my VC++ code, but I am not finding any appropriate functions to do that. Could you please let me know if its possible to Move the map programmatically and if it is then let me know How can I do that? Please reply ASAP.

Answer:

What you are looking for is the Pan method. This MapPoint 2002 method (which I assume also existed in 2001) shifts the map view in a given direction by a given amount; similar to using the Pan tool on the Navigation toolbar.

Syntax - object.Pan(PanDirection, [PanFactor])
