473 Scott Townsend - November 1, 2001

Can the Maps in mappoint 2002 be used interchangibly with older versions. We have the prior version on computers here and when we buy more we were going to go with 2002. We need to be able to use maps created in the new version on machines running the older version. Thanks Scott Townsend

Answer:

No, you cannot use new maps with old software. You will have to buy MapPoint 2002 for all your PCs if you want users to freely exchange MapPoint documents.
