Is there a way I can put datasets linked to an Access database on the map, and in time intervals, show them moving on a map by refreshing the coordinates on the database. I have read F9 refreshes, but I wanted to build code in VB to automatically refresh in a loop any X amount of seconds to show the pins moving on the map. Thanks!

Answer:

I think there are various approaches to this. I haven't experiemented with this myself, but I think the easiest solution would be to have a query table in Access and link this to MapPoint. You can then write some Access code to move data from different time snapshots into this query table, and refresh the link to MapPoint every time the data in this query table has changed.
