Thanks for the answer on Pocket Streets map size. I was trying to export a map of the DFW Metroplex and I keep getting a message indicating that I had exceeded the maximum map size. This constitutes about 6 Meg of map. If I keep the map size about 5 Meg, then the map will export. I don't think DFW would have more points than NYC, but I'm not able to get anywhere close to 9 Meg map exported. That size would be quite sufficient.

Answer:

I think this makes sense. NYC is more densely populated than DFW. Hence, there is more info in the same number of grids, which explains that for DFW, the maximum number of grids you can export results in a 5MB file, whereas in NYC this same number of grids results in a 9MB file.
