Can you turn off City Names when plotting data? I find that having the map cleaner is better for concentrating on the shading, etc. Highways, etc., can be turnmed off, but can't see where data can just really mean data with boundaries.
Answer:
No, there is no way to turn off city names. MapPoint doesn't give you granular control over what displays and what doesn't - the program has its own way of deciding what detail should be visible. The only user override is the set of map styles available (Data Map, Road & Data Map, Political Map, etc.). You can also influence the level of detail displayed to some extent by changing the map font size.
