521 Bill - December 3, 2001

I have an Access database that sends address information to Mappoint to create a route and optimize it and return the optimized route back to Access to print a report from. The problem I am having is that Mappoint optimizes the route differently almost each time the report is ran with the same data. i.e., stop 2 will be stop 9 the next time. I optimize the route object and then calculate it. Is there anything I can do to assure I get the same route every time? Thanks in advance!

Answer:

You can tell MapPoint to create a route without optimizing the stops - in other words visit the stops in a fixed sequence. This is probably what you are looking for.
