Why do some maps take up the full page when they print, while others only take up about half of the page? Is there a way to resize the maps? I have tried zooming in and out and then printing, to no avail...

Answer:

This is kind of difficult to answer without knowing exactly how you are doing the printing. The size of a printed map is determined by the selected page orientation, the type of map ("Current Map View" vs. "Driving directions") and what you include on the map ("Overview Map" or "Legend" if applicable). In the "Print" dialog under "More options...", there is an option to "Automatically select page orientation." You may want to ensure that option is cleared if you want all maps printed in one orientation that you select.
