I have used the code supplied for the find postcode method but the VBA does not like the findresults command, has this been phased out for the 2001 edition.

I'm not sure which source code you are referring to, but the FindResults method is available in the 2002 edition. The Find method is listed as obsolete in MapPoint 2002.

I don't have the 2001 edition, but it sounds like rather than being phased out, FindResults was phased in for the 2002 version.
