Hi , I have gone through the MAPPoint technology recently. Its really a wonderful technology. I have a question about implementing MAPPoint technology in our application. I want to develop my own application using MAPPoint technology where I will be integrating my own MAPS (one of the state in INDIA). Can we do this? If not can you please let me know how can I achieve this feature. If this option is not present in MAPPoint, can we expect MAPPoint future version contains this feature (Approx when can that be?) waiting for a positive response..... Regards Srikanth

Answer:

Sorry, but MapPoint has no provision for adding your own maps. I have not read anything from Microsoft about allowing customization of the underlying maps in future versions. Nor have I read anything about new features in MapPoint 2003.

You can offer this suggestion to the Microsoft Wish List.
