Hello, I'm just starting to work with Mappoint 2002 and I was wondering is it possible to add your own menus or toolbars using VB Thanks for your help, Kevin

Answer:

In MapPoint itself you can create COM add-ins which will allow you to add specific menu items on the Tools menu. See my Finding sites within a specified distance from an address article for more about creating a COM add-in. You can also find more on Microsoft's MSDN website.

If you write a VB app using the MapPoint ActiveX control, then you can create any kind of toolbars and menus that you'd like.
