Can I save a map as a .pdf file?

The Adobe Acrobat product will do what you are looking for.. see Adobe's web site.

If you are working with a www server that has PHP installed (you *should* be) check out the PHP PDF functions at:

Here's a less expensive and easier route..
Download (or purchase) the Print to PDF or Print to Email drivers from Software602.
Here's the URL. I recommend these printer drivers for any company, they are a life saver!
