In my VB app, a boat is a pushpin displayed on the Mappoint control. When the Mappoint control is first shown, it must automatically zoom in until there are 3 boats (pushpin) apppear in the rectangular frame of the Mapppoint control. Is there anyway to know if a pushpin appear in the frame of Mappoint control?

Answer:

If there are only 3 pushpins to show, you could just use the "ZoomTo" method to show the pushpins in the dataset.

Otherwise for the Pushpin's Location object use the "LocationToX" or "LocationToY" method. If the value is -1, the pushpin is not being displayed. If it is on the display, you'll get a positive value of type Long.
