I am deleting a pushpin from my Mapoint control. But there is no event fired when u press Delete key which deletes the pushpin. Basically i want this event so that i can delete that pushpin record in the database which i add it when the user presses Add pushpin.

Nothing simple comes to mind. You could get the VB keypress event but that wouldn't tell you what was deleted. You might get a datamapchange event, but that would only tell you which dataset was changed, not which item in the dataset was affected.

Sorry, I can't think of anything really good.

MS recently posted a response to a similar question in the newsgroup:
"If you are using the MapPoint control on a form, then add a button to the form that calls PushPin.Delete for the pushpin that is selected. The code triggered by that ushbutton can also delete the record from your dataset. You can also process the Map.SelectionChange event to determine what has most recently been selected."
