723 Lily Bragg - June 13, 2002

I need to cut population data by the country of origin (nationality -- not ethnicity) for a given area. Does anyone have a clue where I can get this data from?

Lily, Have you tried the 1990 Census of Population and Housing Summary Tape File 3B? It's available on CD from www.census.gov and the information is provided by zip code. You can find the data on the table STF301 and the fields you'll be looking at are those starting with P009 (i.e., P009001, P009002, etc.) Jorge Ramos
