I am new to map point. I am in the process of doing a mass mailing through a marketing company. The company gave me an Excel spreadsheet with customer information on it. I imported customer info (name, address, zip, phone etc.) with the Data Mapping Wizard. If I select an area on the map and export it, all I get in excel is the zip, county and the number of customers in that zip. I need the customer name, zip, phone, etc. I am trying to quantify the mailing by selecting different geographic areas where we had the mailer sent out, so I can hand my salespeople a list of leads so they can follow up on the mailers. How can I retrieve this data?

Two suggestions: first, when you import the customers, put an ID in the Name field that you can use to match up the records later. Also, when you are importing, make sure everything is check regarding showing the data in balloons, then it should show up when you export to Excel.. - Eric
