  MAPPOINT Q & A

Top | Post New Question | Read All | MP2K Asks Microsoft

77 Mark - June 24, 1999

As a GIS professional I'm would like to see future releases of MP2K support links to images and other documents like MSWord, URL's etc. So, you click on a pushpin and associated with that point is a document ie, picture of a house, word doc, webpage, etc. which pops up for the user to see what links are attached to this feature.

Answer:

MapPoint already does part of what you ask. When a URL is a part of your data, MapPoint is smart enough to recognize this and create a link in the map. Talk a look at this page of our MapPoint tour.
