Mappoint updates the location from a gps feed at 15 sec intervals. Is there
a way to modify this in the Mappoint application? Thanks!

There's not that I'm aware of.. you can get past it through manipulation of the object model however.. for instance, see GPS Plus at the MapPoint Toolbox. - Eric

you can download AGPS from www.techgt.com. I will update mappoint more often and give you turn by turn direction as well. Plus it is only $10
