I am trying to get the distance between two places from mappoint though access but it seems to look at teh town and not the county or postcode. How do i get mappoint to read the post code from access. Thanks in advance.

You're feeding it the postcode? In Access, create a view that contains the postcode only, that should force it to match to the postcode. - Eric
