MapPoint Gets New General Manager
Stephen Lawler has taken on the role of General Manager of the MapPoint Business Unit. As General Manager, Stephen oversees the worldwide development, localization, and marketing of Microsoft’s consumer and business mapping software.
Michael Graff, the previous General Manager, is leading a new group at Microsoft working on applications, servers and services around Windows Mobile.
Stephen Lawler had been the MapPoint Product Unit Manager for some time and was hired by Microsoft around the same time as Steve Lombardi who both have a background with MapInfo Corp.
