MapPoint Web Service Enhancements A number of enhancements were made to the MapPoint Web Service since MWS 3.5 was launched in March, 2004 including both data updates as well as API changes. Data updates include points of interest in the U.S. and new data for parts of Eastern Europe, Asia, and Mexico. API changes include new download methods, POI display control, and an increased search radius. More details can be found in this article.
